Effective date: 23 March 2026 • This policy explains how Fern Gaming Limited ("we", "us") collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information in line with New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020.
1) Information we collect
- Account details: email address, username, password (hashed), preferences.
- Age/eligibility checks: date of birth or age confirmation, and related verification signals where required.
- Gameplay and activity: in-game progress, virtual currency transactions, session logs, support messages.
- Device & identifiers: IP address, device IDs, browser/OS, approximate location, cookie identifiers.
- Payments (if applicable): purchase records; payment card details are handled by payment providers, not stored by us.
2) How we use your information
We use personal information to: provide and secure the service; create and manage accounts; enforce age-gating/eligibility; detect fraud and misuse; provide customer support; maintain, troubleshoot and improve features; perform analytics; send service messages; and, where permitted, deliver and measure advertising and remarketing.
